Financial Policies
Due to the nature of our program, this ministry is most effective for audiences of several hundred to several thousand. Most churches and ministries sell tickets for our program to not only recover expenses, but because people value the quality of this presentation. Most churches sell tickets for between $10 - $15 dollars and encourage their members to purchase tickets for friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. Ticket sales usually meet most of the expenses to host and promote Illusions & Reality.
U.S. Financial Policies
ILLUSIONS & REALITY is a non-profit ministry under U.S. IRS regulation 501(c) 3. The sole existence of this organization is for the purpose of ministry. The quality of both the presentation and messages is kept at the highest of standards. The suggested contributions pay for the tens of thousands of dollars in illusion equipment, sound and other technical equipment, the truck and twenty four foot trailer used for travel between programs, office -space, full -color promotional material, operating expenses, etc., in addition to salaries for the full-time employees of this ministry. The contributions are not salaries!
Suggested Contributions for U.S. Churches & Ministries
In the secular marketplace this program would cost approximately $10,000+ U.S., plus all expenses. Because we are in the business of ministry, not in the business of making money, the suggested honorariums are far below prices in the secular marketplace. This ministry will always strive to keep expenses and overhead to a minimum as a testimony of good stewardship, but overhead and operating expenses are a reality. The following contribution schedule helps us to meet the expenses of the ministry. Below are suggested contributions for the illusion programs.
The Solo Program
This highly entertaining program is a more economical version of the large illusion program. This program is appropriate for Sunday evening worship services, camps, retreats & other special events for audiences numbering up to several hundred. The solo program utilizes audience participation, smaller illusions and comedy. Because less equipment is involved, the honorarium and air travel costs are greatly reduced. Air travel will be for one person only, and the excess baggage costs for equipment are approximately 1/4th the cost of the large illusion program!
$2,500 - $4,750 U.S. (dependent on program type, date and travel time), plus all travel expenses from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
The Large Illusion Program (as outlined in the full-color brochure)
$4,500 - $7,500 U.S. (dependent on program type, date and travel time ) - plus roundtrip travel from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
$4,250 - $7,500 U.S. (flying) - plus air travel, plus all travel expenses (freight charges for equipment, etc.)
Host will be responsible for economy roundtrip plane tickets, excess cargo expenses, and other travel expenditures. In some cases, equipment can travel by truck freight.
Host church or organization is also responsible for meals and lodging while the Leventhals are with your group. All programs include full-color promotional material &promotional packets at no additional cost. Multiple days, local programs, and tour schedules in your area will reduce honorarium and expenses for your church or ministry. Call for details.
Promotional DVD Available - A promotional DVD is available upon request by writing or e-mailing. This video also includes a 3-minute promotional spot to use during announcements in worship services.
Canadian Financial Policies for Canadian Churches & Ministries

Lou is also available to speak/preach at worship services, camps, conferences, retreats and chapel services in conjunction with or without an illusion program over a one or several day period on a limited basis. Call for details. We would be happy to provide references or sample message tapes.
